I used Joomla! for many months, trying to get it to work for my needs. It didn’t. Recently, I came back to Wordpress.
However, I did modify a mambot to allow Joomla! sites to offer ‘Muti’ tagging. I’ve decided to keep the information here for archive purposes.
How to add Muti to your Joomla! 1.0.x website:
- Download this modified version of Muti Tagging Mambot
- Upload it to your Joomla! website using the ‘Mambot Installers’ page.
- Then go to ‘Site Mambots’ and select “Social Bookmarker Mambot”.
- Under ‘Publish’, select “Yes”.
- Then choose your settings on the right side of the page and select “Save” or “Apply”.
This modified version of Socialbookmarkerbot is based on the original JoomlaDigger Socialbookmarkerbot available here .

Tried & tested with Joomla! 1.0.14 RC2. I’m not sure if this works with Joomla! 1.5x…
Since my successful “conversion” to Wordpress, I no longer use or support this mambot.
JoomlaDigger has also changed some of the links to Socialbookmarketbot, so I don’t know if it’s been updated or changed.
